Can you put the stats block back in, or at least a button.  I'm tired of going up into the URL and typing "?action=recent"

The current  "recent posts" block is a bit meaningless...  if the last 5 posts were in the same thread, you can't tell if there's anything new there or not...  likewise if everything there starts with "Re: "

Actually, I just realized that block is even more dumb than I originally thought.  It says "recent topics", but it lists the topic every time there is a reply.  So you get UT2K4 repeated 4 times.  That's really only 1 topic...  even though it's been recent 4 times...  How can a topic be more recent than itself.    That block should at least  do a select distinct or something.

Fixed.  Somewhere along the lines, it got switched to the builtin Recent Posts instead of Recent Topics.  I blame my dog.

New!  Added the Recent Posts block on the right.  I realized I missed having it.  Hard to tell from the front page that there is movement on the boards without it.

Yeah, I go straight to the forum page.  I can see in a quick glance anything new.  (That's because I login, people!)

All you lurkers who read the site...It's much easier when you login.  Just login once and say "Stay logged in forever", then just hit the forum page and get a quick glance at any new posts on the whole site....from one page!  The little icon to the left of the board name is flashing or at least a different color (depending on which skin you use) when there's content there you haven't read.  Are they all flashing?  Just mark each one as "read", and that'll catch your "read status" up to date....then you can quickly get to any new posts that hit the forums...

Of course, who am I preaching to?...  My intended audience may never see this post, since it's not on the front page...
