One of my favorite authors...

Philip K Dick is possibly my favorite writer.  He has this strange ability to write incredibly short stories - Minority Report is only 30 pages long - that can modify your entire mindset.  If you have any interest in Sci-Fi at all, I highly recommend his work.  A little pulpy on the surface, he somehow manages to keep you guessing.  His stories linger.  You stop thinking about them when they are done with you, not the other way around...

Its a shame he has yet to have a story converted to movie in a way that does justice...
