NVIDIA video driver 77.x playback problems

Having an issue watching video on your Geforce card with the new 77.x drivers?  While annoying, this bug has a quick fix.

Open the NVIDIA control panel (from the icon near your clock)
Choose color correction
Change the color profile to advanced mode
Change the "apply color changes to" drop down to all instead of Desktop
hit apply

You should be all set.
