Dan O'Bannon? DEAD!

Another one of my heroes has died.  He was an integral part of many of your favorite movies, including Alien and Star Wars.  He also helped John Carpenter get things rolling on his career.  I even use him as my avatar on occasion (the smoking guy with the messy hair), which comes from one of his few on screen roles - Pinback in the movie Dark Star.  In fact I'm using it right now.

Wow. Painful Disease to die from too.
