How bored am I?

Ok, so I downloaded the demo for Restaurant Empire.  As soon as you start the game you realize that it's made by a second rate, POS, company.  What do you expect for a game like this right?  Anyway, it's an attempt at a The Sims type game about owning and running your own restaurant.

     Despite the crap creator, this game has potential for the utterly bored gamer who has won every game they have and can't find anything to fill the void.  Do I really expect anyone to download this demo and play it?........I hope not because that means you were as bored as I was.  But if you find yourself in that position, it's an ok game that will waste time for about an hour.

     If you like the Sims then you might like this game but even so it's a little too pigeon holed in it's appeal.  I tried to play it to get as much out of it as I could but the main problem I had was not being able to discipline my staff.  I found no way to get my French employees to refrain from being rude to the customers.  Go figure.  I guess they decided to make this realistic by having French people being rude.  Anyway, this game is a huge waste of time.  Even when you feel like your satisfying your own curiosity by establishing a restaurant that is a viable business venture, it seems imposible when the only way to deal with your staff is either give them more money (which doesn't make them any happier and treat your customers better) or fired them and hire someone else who is equally as rude.

I won't say much more than this game is crap and the only reason to check it out is if you are 100% bored with everything else that you have.    Instead just download this

Ok, after checking out the screenshots on the official site I do have to give the game some props.  The fact that you can enter a chef into an Iron Chef type challenge is kind of funny I must admit.

Hehe, yeah, since the last time I saw him play the Sims, he had a closed room with a fireplace and bags of trash everywhere, trying to set his family on fire.

Lol!  I forgot about that.  Man it makes me want to go back and play it just so I can do that again.  Now THAT's quality entertainment.
